Visiting botanical gardens is one of my favorite things to do when visiting a new city. Almost every city has them and some are hidden gems.
The Conservatory of Flowers - San Francisco, California
This is located right next to the Conservatory of Flowers.
Separate entry fees. Both in Golden Gate Park, San Francisco, California.
Portland Japanese Garden - Portland, Oregon
Bonus: There is a free rose garden next to the parking lot of the Japanese Friendship Garden. It’s beautiful!
