Rhode Island: Visiting Roger Williams Park
I may be biased since this is recently where I call home, but Rhode Island has so many gems. I could write for ages all the different restaurants, shops, coffee (and I will eventually on here!) but I want to highlight one spot that goes along with my theme of visiting botanical gardens.
This is now my second year living in Rhode Island and I can’t believe that it was my first time going to Roger Williams Park! I spent the afternoon driving around the park and then stopped into the Botanical Center for a visit.
The Roger Williams Park Botanical Center is so impressive! It cost $5 to enter. The conservatory is part of New England’s largest indoor public garden; 23,000-square feet in total. It is also open all year round and a place to warm up your soul in the middle of winter, as I plan to do.
Plants are my passion and this is truly my new sanctuary in the midst of living in Providence!
